Visit Delhi, Agra & Jaipur 5Days / 4Nights

As India s capital and a major gateway to the country, contemporary Delhi is a bustling metropolis, which successfully combines in its folds the ancient with the modern. Some of the monuments worth a visit are Raj Ghat, a simple memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi; Red Fort built during 1638 48 and overlooking the river Jamuna. New Delhi reflects the legacy the British left behind.

Day 01
Arrive Delhi

Welcome to Delhi - The Grand Capital of India. On arrival at Delhi airport or Delhi railway station, begin your tour of 'The Golden Triangle'. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Later, enjoy a city tour of Delhi. Visit Qutub Minar, Raj Ghat, drive past Jama Masjid, Red Fort, India Gate, the President's House, Parliament House and the Government Secretariat Buildings. If time permits, shop in the local market

Day 02
On to Agra (204 kms / approx. 5 hour drive)

Today, your journey continues to another historical and romantic city of Agra. Enroute visit Sikandra - the mausoleum of Emperor Akbar. Thereafter, visit the famous Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. Continue the tour visiting the Agra Fort containing the Royal residential palaces, the Halls of Public and Private Audience and the beautiful Mughal gardens.

Day 03
On to Jaipur (232 kms / approx. 5 hour drive)

This morning, proceed to the Pink City of Jaipur. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, once the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar. On arrival at Jaipur, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore this vibrant and colourful city and its local markets. Shopping in Jaipur is a colourful and dazzling experience with the wide range of handicrafts and jewellery to choose from. The shops and streets, which were then earmarked for artisans and traders, still retain their old world charm.

Day 04
In Jaipur

This morning, you will visit to the ancient capital of the Kachhawaha Rajputs, Amer. You can take an elephant ride or the jeep ride upto the fort (on direct payment basis). Enroute enjoy a photo-stop at Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Winds. Later, visit the City Palace and the apartment housing museums with an array of textiles, costumes, arms, weapons and paintings and finally visit Jantar Mantar, the observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh-II.

Day 05
Depart Jaipur OR On to Delhi (260 kms / approx. 5 hour drive) | Return home with happy memories

Today bid farewell to your 'Golden Triangle' tour, as you are transferred to Jaipur airport or Jaipur railway station or you can also opt for a transfer to Delhi airport or Delhi railway station for your onward journey.
