Day1 - Begin Your Tour | Arrive Into Washington D.C. |
Day2 - In Vancouver | Victoria Tour Enjoy a ferry cruise through the beautiful Active Pass in the Gulf Islands to British Colombia's quaint capital. Marvel at the spectacular ever-changing Butchart Gardens. Drive the scenic route into Victoria and the Inner Harbor. Some free time to explore this unique city: Government Street shopping and dining, Empress Hotel, Legislative Buildings, Royal B.C. Museum and more. (B, D) |

Day3 - Onto Kamloops | Stop at Ginseng Farm This morning, proceed to one of the most visited natural wonders of the world, the Niagara Falls. Discover the beauty of the legendary whirlpool and rapids as you cruise past the base of the falls on the Maid of the Mist. (Due to weather conditions, the Maid of the Mist operates only after the last week of May. Prior to that date we will take you on a special View Mobile Tram ride). Later, depart to New York. Enroute, visit the Corning Museum of Glass, the largest glass museum in the world with more than 45,000 objects from over 3,500 years of glassmaking history. You will also see live, narrated glassmaking demonstrations. We stretch the night for you with an Illumination Tour, driving past spectacularly lit landmarks of New York. It's magnificent. Day4 - Onto Jasper | Stop at Valemount This morning, drive to Jasper. Enroute stop at Valemount, a charming alpine village situated on the western slopes of the Canadian Rockies near Mount Robson Provincial Park. Spend some time at Mount Robson, British Columbia's second oldest park. (B, D) |

Day5 - In Jasper | Maligne Canyon | Maligne Lake Cruise Today, enjoy the day in Jasper nestled within Jasper National Park, the largest and most northerly of the mountain parks. Explore the natural attractions of Maligne Canyon, Medicine Lake and Maligne Lake with our driver guide. At Maligne Canyon stroll along the 50 metre walls while learning about its unique underground water system. Discover the mystery of the disappearing lake and board a cruise on the serene waters of Maligne Lake. (B, D) |

Day6 - Onto Banff | View the Columbia Icefield Today, drive south along the Icefields Parkway. Experience a wealth of breathtaking scenery, crystal blue-green lakes, fresh Mountain streams, deep forests and snow-capped mountain peaks. On arrival at the Columbia Icefields, a snocoach, will take you on a remarkable excursion onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier. During the 90 minute guided journey, gain a wealth of fascinating information about glaciers, icefields and their impact on our environment. Thereafter Proceed to Banff. (B, D) |

Day7 - In Banff | City Tour This morning, embark on a city tour. We visit the natural hot springs, the landmark Banff Springs Hotel, Tunnel Mountain, and Bow Falls. Marvel at the unsurpassed view of Banff and the Bow Valley as you soar in a breathtaking gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain. Later, board a cruise on the Minnewaka Lake, one of the most interesting areas in the entire park with a live narration by our knowledgeable and entertaining guides. (B, D) |

Day8 - Onto Calgary | Calgary City Tour | Homeward Bound Today, leaving the Rocky Mountains, drive east to Calgary. On arrival, enjoy a tour of Calgary, including the outside view of the Heritage Park, the site of the 1988 Winter Olympics and the Calgary Tower. Good times need never end! As you get ready for the airport and your flight back home, relive the high points of your Merair travel & tours 'The Canadian Rockies' tour.
