	Day1- Begin Tour \| Arrive Cairo \| Khan El Khalili Market \| Sound And Light Show Welcome to your Merair Travel & Tours 'Land of the Pharaohs' tour! Your Merair Travel & Tours representative greets you at the 'meeting point' at the exit after immigration and customs and transfers you comfortably to your hotel (check in after 1400 hrs). This afternoon, visit the Khan El Khalili Market for souvenirs and all types of typical Egyptian artifacts. End the day, with a dazzling Sound and Light Show at the Giza Pyramids. This spectacular show uses innovative techniques to narrate the history of ancient Egypt with magnificent sound and light effects against the Pyramids as a backdrop. (D)
	Day2-In Cairo \| Visit To The Pyramids And The Sphinx \| Egyptian Museum \| Papyrus Institute \| Perfume Factory \| Jewellery Shop \| Overnight Train To Aswan Spend the morning at the Great Pyramids of Giza; Cheops - one of the oldest and largest pyramid on the Giza plateau, Chephren and Mykerinos, and the defending Sphinx - one of the most majestic and enduring monuments of Egypt. Next, visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, which boasts of more than 136,000 artifacts from over five thousand years of Egyptian history. Proceed on, to visit the Papyrus Institute. See the processes and efforts it took to make this ancient form of paper. Later, see the Perfume Factory where a demonstration in the art of perfume making awaits you. The next stop is at the Jewellery Shop, where you can browse exquisite ornaments and shop to your heart's content. Later in the evening, board your overnight sleeper train to Aswan. (B, D)
	Day3-Arrive Aswan \| Board The Nile Cruise \| Optional Excursion To Abu Simbel On arrival, board your, Nile Cruise. Today, you may opt for an excursion to Abu Simbel - flanked by the almost-asimpressive temple of Nefertari the entire site is truly aweinspiring. (B, L, D)
	Day4-On Cruise \| Aswan Tour \| Onto Kom Ombo \| Onto Edfu This morning, embark on a sightseeing tour of Aswan. Visit the High Dam, Philae Temple, Unfinished Obelisk. Later, sail to Kom Ombo, the home of Sobek - the crocodile God who was worshipped in pre-dynastic times. Continue sailing to Edfu. On arrival, take a horse carriage ride to visit the Horus Temple. The best preserved temple in the whole of Egypt, it has many inscriptions in the Copthic language and is adorned with paintings from that era. (B, L, D)
	Day5-On Cruise \| Onto Luxor \| West Bank Today, we sail to cross the Esna Lock on the Nile to reach Luxor. We cross over to the west bank of the Nile River to visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatschepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. (B, L, D)
	Day6-On Cairo \| East Bank \| Overnight Train To Luxor Disembark from your Nile Cruise and proceed to visit the Luxor & Karnak Temples on the East Bank of the Nile. Later this evening, board your overnight sleeper train to Cairo. (B, D)
	Day7-In Cairo \| Excursion To Alexandria On arrival in Cairo, embark on a full day excursion to Alexandria. See the Qaitbay Fortress, Library, National Museum which houses the pieces recovered in 1995 at the Light-house site. Next, visit the Montazah Palace, which boasts of acres of well planned gardens & overlooks a beautiful beach. (B, D)
