Railway ticket bookings are subject to IRCTC rules and seat availability.
Merair acts as a booking facilitator; final confirmation depends on Indian Railways.
Service charges and convenience fees are non-refundable once the booking is made.
Tatkal/last-minute bookings are subject to availability and additional charges as per IRCTC.
In case of partially confirmed or waitlisted tickets, Merair is not liable for seat allocation.
Passenger details (Name, Age, Gender, ID proof) provided at the time of booking must match the traveler’s original ID during the journey.
For group or bulk bookings, allocation of seats/berths together cannot be guaranteed.
Any changes in train schedule, delays, or cancellations are solely under Indian Railways’ control. Merair will not be liable for such operational changes.
E-tickets are valid only with a government-approved ID proof at the time of travel.
Passengers must comply with all Railway travel rules and baggage restrictions.
Merair will provide booking receipts/invoices for the amount paid to us. Any extra charges collected by Railways (if any) will not be invoiced by Merair.
Free cancellation by Merair is allowed until the ticket is generated on IRCTC. Once confirmed, IRCTC’s cancellation rules apply.
Cancellation charges will be as per Indian Railways & IRCTC policies.
Merair’s service/convenience fee is non-refundable in all cases.
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed only after receiving confirmation from IRCTC.
Delays, train cancellations, or rescheduling are governed by Indian Railways. Merair will not provide compensation beyond the ticket refund amount.
No modifications or amendments are allowed once the ticket is booked. A fresh booking must be made for changes.
All queries related to booking through Merair must be directed to Merair support.
Operational issues (train delays, cancellations, seat changes, catering issues, etc.) fall under the responsibility of Indian Railways/IRCTC.
Merair’s liability is limited only to the extent of booking and refund of the service fee/ticket amount as per rules.
Any legal disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of Merair’s operational city.
