Plan Your Trip

Indian passport holders can obtain a visa on arrival for stays up to 14 days, or apply for a 30-day or 90-day tourist visa. The visa process is the same as Dubai since both are in the UAE. We handle complete visa processing — just share your passport copy and photo.

Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) has direct flights from major Indian cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Kochi, and Hyderabad. Etihad Airways, Air India, and IndiGo operate regular flights with a flight time of 3–4 hours. Alternatively, fly into Dubai and take a 90-minute drive or bus to Abu Dhabi.

October to April offers the most pleasant weather (20–30°C), ideal for sightseeing and outdoor activities. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in November and National Day celebrations in December are peak events. Summers (May–September) are very hot but offer significant hotel discounts.

Abu Dhabi is extremely safe with world-class healthcare facilities. No special vaccinations are required. Tap water is safe but bottled water is widely available. Travel insurance is recommended. Emergency numbers: Police 999, Ambulance 998, Fire 997.

The currency is the UAE Dirham (AED), same as Dubai. 1 AED ≈ ₹22–23. Cards are accepted everywhere. ATMs are widely available. Currency exchange at the airport and city centers offer competitive rates. Tipping 10–15% is appreciated at restaurants.

Abu Dhabi is more conservative than Dubai. Dress modestly, especially at the Grand Mosque (abayas provided for women). Photography of government buildings and military installations is prohibited. During Ramadan, eating and drinking in public during daylight is not allowed. Respect local customs and you'll be warmly welcomed.
