The terms on which Merair Travel and Tours Pvt Ltd provides travel services and bookings.
Last updated 1 July 2026
These terms apply to all bookings made with Merair Travel and Tours Pvt Ltd. By making a booking, you accept them on behalf of everyone travelling on that booking.
We act as an agent for airlines, hotels, transport operators and other suppliers. Your contract for those services is with the supplier, on the supplier's own terms and conditions, which we will make available to you on request.
Where we provide our own services, such as itinerary planning, visa documentation support and on-trip assistance, your contract for those is with us.
A booking is confirmed only when we have issued a written confirmation and received the deposit or full payment stated on your invoice.
Airfares are not guaranteed until the ticket is issued. Fares and availability can change between quotation and ticketing, and where they do we will tell you before proceeding.
Service charges are agreed in advance and stated on your quotation.
Cancellation and amendment terms are set by the airline, hotel or operator concerned and vary considerably. We will tell you the applicable terms before you commit.
Our own service charges cover work already carried out and are generally non-refundable once a booking has been made. Where a supplier refund is due, we will process it as soon as the supplier releases the funds to us.
You are responsible for holding a valid passport and any visas, permits or health documentation required for your journey.
Where you engage us to process a visa, we will prepare and file your application with reasonable care. Visa decisions rest entirely with the issuing consulate or embassy. We cannot guarantee an outcome, and our fee covers the work of preparing and filing the application regardless of the decision.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every trip, covering medical treatment, cancellation and baggage. Some destinations require it as a condition of entry. If you decline insurance, you accept the financial consequences of any event it would have covered.
We accept liability for our own negligence in providing our services. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of airlines, hotels or other suppliers, nor for events outside our reasonable control including weather, industrial action, airspace closures, civil unrest and changes to government regulations.
If something goes wrong during your trip, tell us immediately so we can try to resolve it while you are still travelling. Complaints raised after return are considerably harder to remedy with a supplier.
Write to contact@merairtravel.com and we will acknowledge within three working days.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
